Elena is the Senior Supply Chain Advisor at UNICEF Supply Division, based in Nairobi. Prior to this appointment, she worked as Chief Logistics in the Warehouse and Inventory Management Center in the UNICEF Supply Division, Regional Chief of Supply and Procurement in Eastern and Southern Africa Region, Chief of International Transport at UNICEF Supply Division, Team Leader of Malaria Prevention and Diagnostics at UNICEF Supply Division, Supply and Logistics Manager in UNICEF Ghana. She has a rich career path with UNICEF, which started in UNICEF North Macedonia Country Office in January 1993, as a national staff carrying out different functions in the area of operations, admin and finance, supply and logistics, accounting and budget. In her 32 years of experience with UNICEF, Elena worked in emergency and regular programme context, in country, regional and global supply function, taking part in number of missions and facilitating many supply-function trainings.

Elena is an Economist by profession and holds a Masters’ degree in Health and Pharmaceutical Management.
