Maria Pinzon is a passionate and seasoned international professional with 18 years of hands-on leadership experience in the international development and humanitarian, governmental, and private sectors, bilateral, multilateral and academia. Extensive experience in the Water Security and WASH, Health, Livelihoods, Climate Change and Adaptation sectors.  

Maria has participated in more that 30 missions in 27 countries and has been Head of Delegation Netherlands Red Cross in Haiti and the Philippines leading great water portfolios. She is currently performing as the Global Head of the Water Systems Strengthening with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Geneva HQ covering 191 countries globally.
